Following her appointment in 2018, St John of God Foundation Chief Executive Officer, Bianca Pietralla announced a new structure in order to support the development and delivery of a new Foundation strategy.
The changes include two new senior roles - a Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships (based in Victoria) and a Senior Manager Marketing, Communications and Fundraising (based in Western Australia).
Anne Paton has been appointed to the role of Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships and will lead one-to-one relationship fundraising with major donors, trusts, foundations and philanthropic partnerships.
“In my first week with the Foundation I have experienced the hospitality and care that is synonymous with St John of God Health Care. In my new role with the Foundation I look forward to connecting with the many people in the community who have both supported and benefited from our care and hospitality,” Anne said.
Anne brings over a decade of senior level experience to the role, most recently as a Senior Consultant with St Vincent’s Foundation in Melbourne.
Anne’s previous roles include Fundraising and Commercial Manager for John Logan Foundation and Director of Fundraising and Business Development for Telethon Speech and Hearing.
Rachel Bruechle joins St John of God Foundation as Senior Manager Marketing, Communications and Fundraising to drive brand awareness, oversee community fundraising campaigns, appeals and events, and the communications program with the Foundation’s supporters.
Rachel has over 20 years’ marketing and fundraising experience, most recently as Senior Manager, Marketing for Royal Flying Doctor Service (WA). Her previous senior roles include Head of Marketing and Intelligence for Activ Foundation, Director of Development and Communications at Murdoch University, and Group Marketing Manager at Lotterywest.
“I’ve had the privilege of working for some life-changing, mission-oriented organisations in my recent career and I’m pleased to continue this focus with St John of God Health Care,” Rachel said.
“The Foundation has set itself some ambitious targets to 2021 and I look forward to working with my colleagues to bring this success and community benefits to life”.
Bianca said these appointments, along with the new Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager position in WA filled by Meg Croucher, would help St John of God Foundation build closer relationships with donors.
“I look forward to supporting our senior team to make a life changing difference to patients and our communities,” she said.
“These positions will give the people who support us can have a direct line of communication and experience the impact of their contribution.”
