St John of God Foundation reached a significant milestone this month, celebrating its 25th anniversary on 3 June 2019.

The Foundation was established by the Sisters of St John of God in 1994 –– who first recognised the need to raise funds in areas of unmet community need.

Collaborating with St John of God Health Care, the Foundation strives to improve health outcomes and quality of life for patients, families and communities by raising funds to support new patient therapies, state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and personalised treatment options, as well as advancing discoveries in medicine to better diagnose, treat, and cure disease through excellence in medical research.

The Foundation has a proud history of supporting St John of God Health Care. Within a fast-changing healthcare landscape, the ongoing challenge is to continue to advance our service, technology and research capability.

In its 25th anniversary year, the Foundation has revisited its purpose to ensure it remains relevant to the Mission and Strategy of St John of God Health Care today and into the future. Our renewed purpose is to transform health care through excellence in personalised patient treatment and leading medical research.
