As we celebrate National Reconciliation Week, we’re invited to reflect on the ways we can use our power to make change, and to take action today for reconciliation tomorrow.
Australians will have the opportunity to use our voices to shape the future of our country when we participate in the historic Voice to Parliament referendum later this year. The referendum marks an important step forward in Australia’s reconciliation journey and has the potential to impact the lives of many generations to come.
In addition to prioritising the provision of culturally safe and supportive care, St John of God Health Care is committed to creating genuine and strong partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and working towards reconciliation.
Through our Reconciliation Action Plan, St John of God Health Care aims to build upon our strong history and heritage to further our engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations.
This week and every week, we have the opportunity to build on the momentum and important work of past generations. And together, we can use our voices to create a stronger, more just and equitable country for future generations.
