We are delighted to share St John of God Subiaco Hospital’s 2021/22 Annual Research Report, highlighting the hospital’s remarkable achievements across the year.
This report showcases the world-class research being undertaken by St John of God Subiaco Hospital’s experienced researchers and clinicians, which will improve health care outcomes not only for the hospital’s own patients, but also for members of the local and global community.
One key example is the St John of God Foundation Research Grants program, which was launched in 2022. In the pilot program at St John of God Subiaco Hospital, over $100,000 in Early Career Researcher and Seed Funding grants were awarded to support research into multiple sclerosis, barriers to palliative care access, and measuring nurses’ resilience.
The enduring kindness and philanthropic vision of our donors in support of innovative medical research is truly inspirational. We wish to express our sincere gratitude for your generosity and commitment to medical research.
“On behalf of patients, families and every caregiver across St John of God Health Care, I extend our thanks to each and every supporter that has commenced or continued to support health care advancements through research at St John of God Subiaco Hospital over the past twelve months,” says St John of God Foundation CEO Bianca Pietralla.
“It is through your compassion that we can continue to transform the future of health care and give hope to patients in their time of greatest need.”
We hope that you find the report of interest and that you enjoy learning about the incredible scope of research being conducted by our hospital’s talented team of clinicians and researchers.
